Manage a variety of projects including several long-term projects with major companies, both Australian and International clients.

Utilise your extensive experience in geological modelling and geostatistical resource estimation. Work autonomously on some projects and in teams on others. Provide technical and project management expertise. Use your industry contacts to form and maintain client relationships. Determine scope of works and prepare proposals.

At a Principal level you naturally want more than a pure technical challenge. Mentoring more junior Geologists is another aspect, as well as peer reviewing and contributing to corporate projects.

While the current structure supports Principals and Senior Geologists in a predominantly technical capacity, planned growth in 2010 and 2011 will create a more formalised leadership role, yours should you wish to take it.

Non-commodity specific role, a solid Resource Geologist (hands-on modelling skills a must) with anything from 15-30 years experience can develop this role. Post Graduate qualifications in Geology preferable.

What’s different about this role is you will be responsible for driving the near mine exploration; Planning and executing drillng; also involved in resource estimation, taking on a Project Geologist role at times.

To be considered for this role you will have upwards of 7 years experience, degree qualified with in Geology and Surpac knowledge is preferable although not a necessity.
